Video mapping evaluation by Charlotte Tringham
EVALUATION
As a group we had different strengths, myself, Charlie and Alex worked together to create our end execution of the locker projection. Charlie was the most advanced with the modul8 software so he took point; we experimented with features such as the light tracking. This enabled us to successfully create the moving spotlight that simulated a moving x-ray beam similar to a searchlight....

Holographic technology
One person in our group decided to look up Holographic technology as it is advancing at a fast rate and is a close cousin to Video Architecture. Heres some interesting videos found: CNN first Hologram seen on a news broadcast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thOxW19vsTg Elvis Presley and Celine Dion duet 2009: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=demh7Whc96s Hatsune Miku a Japanese virtual pop star:...
Tron Dance

Some ideas that were made by the group
First we searched around the college for places to set up some projectors and came up with ideas that would be interesting to fit around the architecture. First idea: set up at the college lockers and have the doors open to reveal random things like mouldy lunch, socks, bag of cocaine, rats, decapitated head etc. Then we came across some sofas and were thinking maybe we could set up a projector...
introduction, Architecture and video mapping
first session in complimentary studies module
Architecture and video mapping is a new subject for us, we had an induction on the projector we were shown a practical demonstration seeing how progections can be mapped to 3d objects
we were shown the modul8 software, and then encouraged to experiment
